To ensure course participants understand how the radio industry works and to prepare them for an immediate start in a radio station.

  3. Understand how you can start out in a variety of roles.
  4. Understand the difference and importance between live announcing and pre recorded voiceovers and how to do both.
  5. Give you the skills in writing both News and Commercials for radio.
  6. Give you the skills required to format and present quality programs for radio.
  7. Teach you the role of audience research in building a quality program.
  8. Understanding the importance of programming, and how programming decisions alter station direction.
  9. Be proficient in using the broadcast equipment and software including NexGen.
  10. Each student is assessed as they go with hands on assistance and advice.
